Below I propose the assembly of this 2007 Time VX Elite, revisited in a modern way.

Time bicycles is one of those companies with a strong identity, with a clear vision. This is demonstrated by the fact that in an era in which it would have been easy to go and produce in Far East Asia, Time continued to produce in Europe. This is demonstrated by the production process, completely different from that of all the other brands. In a world in which “how you sell” matters more than “what you sell”, they are an oddball.

As you can imagine, I am a fan of the brand. So when I came across this poorly assembled Time VX Elite with recycled components, I had no doubts: it deserved a second youth. The Time VX Elite is the sister of the famous VX Pro, VXR and VXRS and shares their geometry.

So I got myself a complete Shimano Ultegra R8000 groupset, Pro Vibe handlebar, stem, seatpost and a pair of Lightweight Ventoux.
The assembled bike (without pedals and bottle cages) weighs 7.25 kg, a remarkable result for a bike of this size.
