Today’s build is this 2012 Cervélo R3 Team.

Cervélo was born in 1995 from the passion of 2 university students, Gerard Vroomen and Phil White. What at the time seemed just a project for the degree thesis has transformed in a few years into one of the most innovative companies in the sector. If you have never seen it, take a second and take a look at the first Cervélo, the Baracchi.

Over the years it has sponsored Basso and Sastre’s CSC, it was the first company to create its own development team (the Cervélo Test Team, right in the years of the Cervélo R3 Team), and to finish today when it supplies bikes to the Visma Lease a Bike Team.
The R3 that we are showing you is in very good shape, despite its 13 years of life.

Assembled with a very solid Shimano Ultegra R8000, Pro Vibe stem and handlebar, AX Lightness Stream 38T wheels.
Total weight of the bike assembled in this way 6.47 Kg.
